Why I Stopped Journaling Online

And what I learned from my journey

As much as it saddens me. I have decided to let my online Journal go to the archives. It’s been a reasonably good journey, I only let a couple of days slip due to different circumstances that were out of my control. Journaling for 365 days first seemed like an impossible task, but alas it worked most of the time.

So we can say that this; “One article a day” has taken over, as it’s more interesting to read and of course for me to write. I feel that I’m better at longer content than on short.

So what did I learn from this experience?

Learnings from the online journaling

  • It’s hard to write about your life every day
  • What to write about when the days are basically the same
  • Separate private and personal
  • Not many people are interested in what you write in a journal
  • The why’s and how’s

Honestly, to be consistent for that long was a challenge and I am proud I could keep (almost) that up. The only thing I have kept on longer is reading The Bible. But that might be a subject for a later essay!
